Oliver Petrovic

Oliver Petrovic, a mechanical engineering graduate from RWTH Aachen University, has been an expert in the field of robotics since joining the WZL machine tool laboratory at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2023, he has held the position of Senior Engineer and Head of Department for Automation and Control Technology. His department intensively researches and drives forward topics such as robotics, industrial IoT, artificial intelligence and human-technology interaction. Petrovic is not only an innovative thinker, but also an active member of standardization committees, where he contributes significantly to the design and further development of industry standards. His expertise and passion make him a driving force in the further development of industrial automation.
