I discovered my passion for logistics through material flow simulation as part of my as part of my industrial engineering diploma thesis. Since then I have been fascinated the spirit and joy of innovation in the logistics world. In 2012, I started working as a project manager in implementation with a focus on contract logistics for automotive and industrial customers. My drive to always
to develop solutions then led me into the planning of new warehouse locations and optimizing logistics systems.
This is where I started to discover trends, forge new concepts and gain experience with new technologies, especially in the context of research projects such as the Enterprise Lab. Today I am responsible for technology development in contract logistics at
DACHSER. With my Technology Solutions team, we test the use of new technologies, develop technologies, develop innovative solutions and introduce them at DACHSER. This includes the roll-out of driverless transport systems, the use of
collaborative robots to support employees in the Value Added Service the realization of fully automated warehouse and picking systems. The biggest challenge here is adapting to the conditions and requirements in requirements in logistics. In my opinion, success depends on a well-founded analysis, a holistic approach, the involvement of all those involved and partnership with suppliers are crucial.
