Andreas Walz

After completing my training as a forwarding agent in 2012 at Esselte Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, I gained my initial experience in the field of logistics. Subsequently, transitioning to Helukabel GmbH allowed me to make progress in export documentation and customs matters. Joining EGO Europe GmbH in 2017 combined logistics with export experience. There, I started as a purchaser with logistical tasks and worked my way up from Logistics Manager to my current position as Head of Supply Chain & Logistics, which I have held since January 2023. My main focus is on building and continuously improving the logistics department, the tender process for warehouses, the implementation and further development of ERP systems, the optimization of internal and external processes, ensuring the Order-to-Cash process, representing as customs officer to authorities, and promoting digitalization within the company. I am 31 years old, married, and a father of two children.
