Dr. Wolfgang Hackenberg is CEO and co-founder of SYNAOS, an intralogistics software company based in Hannover, Germany. He studied in Cologne and Beijing, earning his doctorate in logistics monitoring from the Clausthal Technical University. Hackenberg spent ten years at Volkswagen, where he most recently led the shopfloor IT and established the Smart Production Lab. At SYNAOS, he is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the company.
SYNAOS' industry-leading, scalable, and data-driven SaaS solution, the Intralogistics Management Platform (IMP), automates intralogistics processes and orchestrates complex material flows with mobile robots, forklifts, and employees in factories and logistics centers. Thus, SYNAOS shapes the automation and digitalization of intralogistics and drives it significantly forward, directly influencing how goods are manufactured in factories and moved in warehouses. In addition to Volkswagen, Schaeffler, and MAN, other companies such as Harry Brot and the ZF Group also rely on SYNAOS' platform and solutions.
